Safe Snacker is a recipe, meal-planning, and grocery app that adapts recipes to your food sensitivities, operated by Sledge Dev Inc. ("Sledge Dev," "we," "us," or "our"). Usage data — pages and features you use, recipes you view or save, and similar activity, used to operate and improve the Service.
Device & technical data — device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and general location (such as country or region) derived from your IP.
Cookies and similar technologies — on our website, to keep you signed in and to measure usage. See "Cookies" below.

Information from third parties

Payments — when you subscribe to Safe Snacker Pro, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details and shares limited transaction data (such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card) with us. We never receive or store full card numbers.
Sign-in & sharing — if you import a recipe from a link or social post, we process that link to build a structured recipe.

How we use your information

Provide, personalize, and maintain the Service — including adapting recipes to your dietary profile and scaling recipes to your household.
Generate recipes and recipe images you request, and match grocery items to retailers.
Process subscriptions, payments, trials, and renewals.
Communicate with you about your account, updates, security, and support.
Keep the Service safe — detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms, including content moderation.
Analyze and improve the Service and develop new features.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

Service providers who work on our behalf — for example payment processing (Stripe), AI recipe and image generation, grocery/affiliate matching (Walmart), hosting, and analytics. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
Other users — content you choose to make public (such as published recipes, ratings, comments, public profile details, or cook posts) is visible to others. Your dietary profile is used to personalize your experience and is not published.
Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Sledge Dev, our users, or the public.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

AI-generated content

Some recipes, substitutions, and images are produced with the help of third-party AI providers. The prompts and dietary information you submit to generate a recipe are sent to those providers to fulfill your request. AI output can be inaccurate — please review ingredients yourself, especially where allergies are involved. See our Terms of Service for important allergen and health disclaimers.

Affiliate links

"Shop on Walmart" and similar features use affiliate links. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Your interactions with retailers are governed by those retailers' own privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Access & update — view and edit your profile, dietary filters, and content in the app.
Delete your account — you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from within the app or by emailing us. We will honor verified requests as required by law.
Marketing — opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.
Regional rights — depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users
